Description:
Disclaimer

This is a WIP! The balance is shaping up a lot better but still getting tweaked slowly, so I’d especially love feedback on how I can make him more enjoyable! It might take me a bit to fix things, but I’ll do my best to keep him improving as much as I can.

Disclaimer 2

To be clear in advance to anybody seeing this, the art is made with AI Art Generation and then manually modified. Once he’s settled in terms of balance and content, I’ll try my best to figure out Beta Art and introduce you to my atrocious art skills for those who are against AI Art. <3 This’ll definitely take a while since I’ve got as much artistic talent as I do funds (Read: None) so sorry for the wait, in advance!

Character

To the people of the town he resides in, Mr. Atlas Elidae is a generous man that uses the proceeds from his trade business to keep the town well fed. A connoisseur when it comes to food, he eats things that others would call eccentric and holds banquets that could only be called lavish at worst. He spends the vast majority of his free time either cooking or spending time with his beloved daughter, but can always spare a moment for those who need him. He’s almost too good to be true. He is too good to be true.

When you’re as hungry as he is, anything – and anyone – can be a good impromptu meal, but you have to be selective about when you’re eating unless you’re confident you can get away with it.

Content

1 Playable Character: Atlas Elidae, the Hungry Wolf

  • 77 Cards
  • 1 ‘Reminder Text’ Relic
  • 2 Universal relics
  • 3 Personal Relics
  • 1 Special Relic after the first combat, for characters that pull from all card colors
  • 2 Special Relics for any character with access to ‘Ravenous’.
  • A special relic for a friend who hates Goblin Nob

Mechanics

Energy – Atlas’ energy is determined by his Maximum Hand Size, and limits how much he can Draw in a turn instead of the number of cards he can play.

Ravenous – Take damage at the end of your turn. The damage increases each time you draw, and is reduced by your current energy after it’s dealt to you.

On Exhaust – Some cards have bonuses for exhausting them, ranging from block, to damage, to debuffs, to triggering Consume.

Consume – Deal non-attack damage equal to your Ravenous, then heal for every 5 damage dealt.

Feral – Increase the damage and healing efectiveness of your Consume by a percentage.

Keyword: Seconds – Some cards will be added to your hand the first time they would be exhausted.

Keyword: Banquet – Atlas’ version of X-Cost cards: Exhaust your entire hand, then gain effects based on how many cards you had in your hand.

Keyword: Fatten – When you damage a Fattened target, draw a card for every 2 [Fatten] it has, and remove it.

Thanks

Big thanks to the modding discord – there’s such a wealth of examples in there that I was able to put this thing together without being code-literate in the least. Extra thanks to the developers of Packmaster, The Abyssal, and Noelle for having some systems built that were way over my head to make from scratch on my own. I really appreciate everything that the modding community’s provided so anyone can make things happen!

All of the art was generated by AI Image Generation, and then tweaked by hand if needed.
