KR-113 "Lycoming Ranger"
Not a P-47
The KR-113 is my own design and turned out to look a lot like the well-known P-47 more or less by accident. Original idea for this aircraft was to fit in something like the massive Lycoming XR-7755 36 piston radial engine prototype onto a airframe (hence the nickname). Because of this the fuselage was made to fit a 2:1 scale XR-7755 and started to look like a P-47.
With a massive engine and a corresponding massive wing, it was pretty clear this wouldnt be a light fighter. So I integrated four x8 autocannons inside the 3D wings, making it an effective heavy fighter and ground attacker.
