Better Laser Wavelength and Jitter
Slight improvement to all lasers (Alien’s included) by changing wavelength and laser jitter. IR lasers get a bit better range, greens about the same, UVs are a lot better.
Human laser wavelength changed to increase effective range.
IR laser wavelength 1080 -> 750nm (Alexandrite – Holmium laser)
Green laser wavelength 540 -> 532nm (Nd:YAG – Krypton laser)
UV laser wavelength 270 -> 77nm (Ce:LLF – Gold laser)
Point Defense Arc laser and Phaser are changed to green laser, Alien PD color changed from red to orange, all PDs get a bit larger mirror, all PDs can attack, and all PDs have increased targeting range
All laser jitter flattened to be equal to their PD version. This makes laser range scaling simpler and make larger laser even better.
The reason for this mod was because TI laser were a bit lacking compared to other technology. I believe they need some buffs. However, I don’t want to tweak numbers too much. So I decided to buffs them by increasing their effective range with wavelength and jitter. These wavelength are reasonable wavelengths (or at least they are in CoaDE) And flattening laser jitter help fix odd laser effective range scaling in vanilla.
