KR-110 Wooden Jet Fighter
I hosted the RLM #14 contest, which specified a fighter aircraft thats built out of mostly wooden blocks, with a few exceptions like steering hinges and bombs for example. To test the contest rules and honestly because I was hyped for the entries I built my own wooden fighter.
It’s design is completly original and is mainly based on paper planes of the Luftwaffe. Although the airframe can withstand high G-loads, the stability of the aircraft is poor and it controls extremly flimsy and hard to predict. Its small size and a low weight make it an ideal interceptor and short range fighter.
