Darkest Plus
Darkest Plus is an end-game expansion mod, leaving the main four Darkest Dungeon quests alone while expanding it with explore, gather, activate, and slay quests. These quests feature Darkest tier enemies, normal shambler, and normal collector spawns as you fight your way through the Darkest Dungeon.
Due to the nature of this mod, it works best on a fresh save. If you are installing on an old save, make sure you are in a quest from the ruins, cove, weald, or warrens. Then turn on this mod. If you wish to uninstall, again make sure you are in a mission in the weald, warrens, ruins, or cove.
- Level 6 quests for the Darkest Dungeon after the first Darkest Dungeon mission is completed.
- The Darkest Dungeon has no obstacles. Just traps. bring a lot of supplies to help you through!
- Allows heroes (even if you have strict mode on) to journey back into the Darkest Dungeon for a price of their sanity.
- Some times a non-level 6 quest spawns. Do not go into it, it will crash your game. (potentially fixed)
- The eventually of save-bloat. Darkest Dungeon (the game) will start to fail in saving and loading a save if it is over 20MB. The older a save gets (as in the more weeks you pass in game) the larger the save becomes. This issue is also made larger by districts giving buffs to dead and alive heroes, making the save larger. Why does this matter to Darkest Plus? Completing a Darkest Dungeon quest will mark your hero as a veteran, removing them from the roster limit. Each hero (veteran or not) will contribute to your save size. This mod has been tested with up to 500 veterans, 29 normal heroes, and to week 200 with no issues. However please mod responsible and do not use this on older saves.
