UsefulContainers
In previous versions of the game the containers held slightly more inventory space than they took up. This mod brings back that functionality, and has logic in place to prevent nesting containers within containers infinitely. Affected items are:
FirstAidKit 4×4 inventory, 3×3 footprint
SmallProtectorCase 4×4 inventory, 3×3 footprint
CookingPot 4×4 inventory, 3×3 footprint
AmmoBox 5×5 inventory, 4×4 footprint
WaterProofBag 5×5 inventory, 4×4 footprint
Additionally this mod makes it so those containers can be repaired with tape (FirstAidKit, Protector Case, WaterProofBag) or epoxy (all others)
This mod, in conjunction with ItemSizeTweak can trim your player’s kits down quite a bit, as can mods like UsefulBatteries which will make it so you aren’t constantly feeding your equipment fresh batteries.
To install server side:
-Download the mod to the root directory of your server
-Copy the key file from the keys directory to your server’s keys directory
-Add this mod to your launch parameters
To install client side using DayZ launcher:
-Subscribe to the mod
-Open DayZ launcher and check mark the mod in the mods list
-Add the mod’s folder name to the end of your mod string
