Description:

Ambassadors changes the way we handle the senior aged colonist. It selects the Seniors in the colony to be Ambassadors. Then when you land a rocket on Mars, the Ambassadors will load the rocket and head back to earth to generate more applicants for you. (It sends the Seniors back to Earth for you.)

The number of applicants an Ambassador will generate is calculated from their traits. Positive traits (perks) increase the number while negative traits (flaws) decrease the number. Each Ambassador is calculated independently, and in the case of more negative traits then positive, they simply do not generate any applicants. So to generate more applicants with your Ambassadors you need to cure them of their negative traits while they are younger. This adds benefit to the current technologies already available in the game.

This mod is written so that it does not create classes or place objects, rather it runs code based on simple function calls. This means that it can be added to an existing save game and does not require a new game. It also means it can be disabled during a play through at any point without affecting the save game.

The mod also checks for the “Forever Young” breakthrough technology and disables itself when the technology is researched. If you do not wish to disable the seniors leaving the colony or the applicants they generate then simply do not research the “Forever Young” tech if it is discovered.

Please remember to rate the mod.
