The People’s Socialist Republic of Albania
**This is NOT entirely historically accurate**
Play as Socialist Albania, starting off a year after the National Liberation War (World War II) has ceased fire and the fascist foes have been eradicated (1946). The Greek Civil War rages on to the south of your borders and the Greek Communist forces are relying on your support to crush the oppressive Kingdom of Greece and liberate the Greek masses along side the other fellow Socialist neighbors surrounding your eastern borders. However, tensions have begun to arise surrounding Yugoslavia’s ambitions and desires for the Balkan region and the future of Albania’s independence.
Objectives:
1). Build up a strong military and a reliable economy.
2). Crush the oppresive monarchy of Greece, and restore order to the south of your borders.
3). Either liquidate the Democratic Army of Greece, or liberate Kosovo from Yugoslavia.
4). Liberate Kosovo or Macedonia from Yugoslavia.
5). Decide your fate.
Tips:
– Maintain diplomatic peace with Italy and Yugoslavia*
– The democratic Army of Greece is a geo-political tool, utilize then subdue.
– Italy as a whole should be the last country to fight prior to conquering the Balkans,
however, the islands they control could be useful.
*Maintain peace with Yugoslavia until after you’ve secured Greece.
