Clearer Unit Card UI
What Does This Change?
– Unselected units have a black card frame.
– Hovered units have a soft white frame which fades out at the bottom.
– Selected units have a solid white card frame and a white border around the bottom icon.
Okay But Why?
I felt frustrated at times with the lack of contrast between the selection frame and the background border.
Just So You Know…
This only changes some picture files which overlay (and underlay) the unit cards. It won’t conflict with custom unit cards, multiplayer games, or save games. There are no edits to any data tables. This should work even if it hasn’t been updated to the latest patch (unless CA changes the folder path or file names).
