M142 HIMARS
M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System)
The M142 HIMARS is a light multiple rocket launcher, mounted on a standard Army Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) M1140 truck frame.
HIMARS carries one pod with either six Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) rockets or one Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS)* missile.
The pack includes the launch vehicle, 3 packs of ammo (2 GMLRS and 1 ATACMS*)
Operation Manual – Driver
- To start the car, turn the Key
- Release Parking Brake
- Check Speed Limiter(in the middle of the windshield)*
Operation Manual – Gunner
- Press 2 on the seat or the button on the right side of the truck to Winch UP
- Press 4 on the seat or the button to Retract Loading Mechanism
- Press 1 on seat to turn on Fire Control
- Press space key on seat to Launch Rockets
- Press 4 or button again to Extend Loading Mechanism
- Press 3 on the seat or the button to Winch DOWN
- Reload Ammo by attaching 4 ropes to the Rockets Pod
Attention
- ATACMS is temporarily unable to guide and can only maintain altitude (Can be changed on the missile setting)
- In order to prevent the engine from overheating, set the speed limiter below 70~80！
- Still a work in progress and may contain bugs and other known issues!
