Welcome to Logichammer: Scripture, a module in the Logichammer series, a re-release of some old content I developed, with minor tweaks and back end convention changes.

Scripture standardises faction names to represent creed rather than location. Factions now have appropriate prefixes and suffixes where the lore abides them. Faction names also develop throughout campaigns to reflect the progress of their lords. For instance, this release brings progressive faction names for the Vampire Coast, reflective of infamy milestones.

Example

  • Legendary Lord: Wurrzag
  • Faction Start Name: Bloody Handz Tribe

Conditional Name Change (CNC) I: Da Kroosade!
Requirements: Take the province ‘Western Badlands’.

CNC II: Da Fist of Gork! / Da Hand of Mork!
Requirements: Have Grimgor OR Skarsnik in your faction.

CNC III: Da Prophesied Waaagh!
Requirements: Have Grimgor AND Skarsnik in your faction.

CNC IV: Da Great Gorkamorka Waaagh!
Requirements: Have Grimgor AND Skarsnik in your faction AND achieve 100 victories in battle, collectively, amongst your generals.

Name Revisions
Almost every faction name standardised and brought closer to the lore and/or the theme of the legendary lords representing them.

Faction Leader-specific Names
Lords such as Franz, Volkmar, Archaon, Sigvald and Kholek all start with faction names tailored to them.

NEW: Faction Mechanics
Use of faction mechanics for changing names applies. For instance, Vampire Coast faction names progress with infamy. Grimgor’s faction name progresses with how many battles he wins, and whom he wins against.

Characters
If a faction houses specific characters (best used with a Legendary Lord reviver mod) then the faction name will change. For example, Wurrzag seeks the "Once and Future Git," Grimgor (and Skarsnik). Once they join his faction, through confederation or a mod event, his faction becomes "Da Prophesied Waaagh!"

Region(s) Owned
Specific regions trigger a name change. For instance, Dwarfs who hold the eight ‘standing’ Karaks become "Clans of the Eight Enduring Holds."

Province(s) Owned
The faction must hold select provinces. Many factions use this one—best example being The Empire with "Empire of Man" for holding all the elector provinces.

Last Faction Standing
The last faction standing out of a group will adopt the new name. E.g., Reikland must destroy the Empire Secessionists to become the "Grand Principality of Reikland."

Conquer Count
Holding a required number of regions will change the faction name. You will most likely find Grimgor’s ‘Ardboyz have become "Grimgor’s Mighty Nutta Scrum" in the early-mid game after he’s conquered and assimilated 10 regions.
