Heavier Meteor Impact
Makes the meteor look and sound like having actual weight!
Vanilla Starbound uses grenade explosion as a meteor impact animation and sound effect, which look and sound weak (doesn’t feel like meteor crashing on your planet at all). This mod changes that. Both small meteors (meteor shower weather) and large meteors now feel like actual meteor!
Changes made:
- Both small meteor and large meteor have new explosion animation and sound (no more grenade sound effect);
- Both meteors have whooshing sound before impact;
- Large meteor leaves traces of smoke upon impact, simulating a meteor crash (how come a meteor that huge doesn’t leave trace at all?);
- Large meteor leaves fire burn upon impact.
