Description:

This is my kinda accurate Hayabusa, well, as accurate as I could get it eyeballing it. It doesn’t turn quite as well as it could, if you want more elevator authority you can increase the angles on it, but it’s good enough for me. It’s acceleration is quite poor, so make gravity your ally!

Block count: 220
Top speed: ~500 km/h, although most of the time you’ll go 450

Features:

– 3 engine speeds
– 2 crossbows
– Flaps, good for turning and landing
– I actually covered the underside of the wings for once!
– Cockpit view
– Self centering roll with a reaction wheel

Controls:

– WASD+QE: control surfaces (yes I fly with wasd and a camera, change it if you don’t like it)
– Lshift+Lalt: engine. There are two wheels, each with a key which allows for 3 different speeds: slow (just Lalt), for landing; medium (just Lshift), for taxi and fast (both), for takeoff and flight
– < > (although besiege says it’s back slash): Flaps (toggle)
-G: Landing gear (toggle)
– F: follow camera
– Lctrl: aiming cameras (cockpit and 3rd person)
-LMB: crossbows

It doesn’t really need the flaps for takeoff, but you can use them if you want. Also, if you plan on going through rocky terrain for some reason, the undercarriage can get very wobbly, so be careful. If you turn with the rudder while firing the crossbows the arrows will hit the plane. They won’t actually damage it, but it’s still something to keep in mind. I could have solved this by using long and thin crossbows, but they don’t look great so I decided to keep it as is. The rudder kinda sucks anyway so I wouldn’t use it to aim.
