Description:

This is the first plane I’ve managed to build with a working engine mounted cannon. I used the new axle blocks and abused the cannon’s collider a bit for this. The engine isn’t completely torqueless, but its mostly mitigated with tuning. Overall, its not very maneuverable, mostly due to the engine being underpowered (just like the real thing I guess) and the block count is a bit high because I decided to add these quirky useless features.

Block count: 270
Top speed: ~485 km/h

Features:

– 3 engine speeds
– x8 autocannon and 2 crossbows
– Useless details, like retracting radiator and folding aerial
– Flaps, intended for landing but also good for takeoff
– Cockpit view
– Poorly made camo
– Self centering roll with a reaction wheel

Controls:

– WASD+QE: control surfaces (yes I fly with wasd and a camera, change it if you don’t like it)
– Lshift+Lalt: engine. There are two wheels, each with a key which allows for 3 different speeds: slow (just Lalt), for landing; medium (just Lshift), for taxi and fast (both), for takeoff and flight
– < > (although besiege says it’s back slash): Flaps (toggle)
– G: Landing gear (toggle)
– F: follow camera
– Lctrl: aiming cameras (cockpit and 3rd person)
– LMB: cannon and crossbows
– MMB: just crossbows

The front landing gear is rigid, but it can handle rough landings ok. The aerial and radiator are automatic, but if you want the key bindings they are 8 and 9. The cannon is limited to ~560 km/h so that the plane doesn’t disintegrate, otherwise it should work fine. Still, tell me if you have any problems with it.
