Sopron SR (uninhabited)
The Soviet Republic of Sopron is located partly in the territory of Győr-Moson-Sopron county of Hungary and partly in the territory Burgenland province of Austria.
Its capital is Sopron (Ödenburg). Mainly Austro-Germans and Hungarians live in this small country.
In its western part, there are mountains divided by narrow valleys (Soproni Mountains), which pass into plains towards the southeast.
The Fertő tó (Neusiedler See) is a lake located in the northeast, which is surrounded by an extensive marsh.
The landscape is covered by dense forests, favorable for the wood industry.
The Soproni Mountains hide large amounts of uranium and coal, while the plains have potentially large oil reserves.
There are also many resources near Fertőrákos. But the region is poor in aluminum and iron, which makes the map challenging.
