Description:

Play as a holy version of each characters!

NOTE:

The strength of the holy characters is relatively high, and you can experience more fun here.
This mod is continuously updated. We will finally provide all the holy characters for the original game characters.

New Items

This mod is mainly designed for characters, and a few new items related with their abilities.

Holy D6 (0 charge, 4 quality, angel room)
1. Reroll items in current room from corresponding item pools. There is 80% chance that the new item’s quality will remain unchanged, and 20% chance become better.
2. Upon use, it will cause a half heart damage to players.
3. Red hearts will be firstly damaged.
4. Holy D6’s damage won’t results in punishments, such as a decreament of devil room chance.

Live Heart (6 charge, 3 quality, treasure room)
1. If player has broken hearts, it will change a broken heart into heart container. Otherwise it will spawn a red heart.

Convert (6 charge, 0 quality, hidden)
1. Change the character of tainted holy azazel.
2. This item is hidden, so you cannot get it in a normal way.

Remake (6 charge, 4 quality, treasure room)
1. Remove a random item from the player, and spawn two new items that switch every second.
2. New items is not limited by the item pools.
3. Special items such as negative and family portraits will not be removed and spawned.

Fix (0 charge, 0 quality, hidden)
1. Fixed passive items currently held by tainted holy eden.
2. This item is hidden, so you cannot get it in a normal way.

Persona (0 charge, 0 quality, hidden)
1. Change the persona of tainted holy lost.
2. This item is hidden, so you cannot get it in a normal way.

Holy Blade (10s charge, 3 quality, angel room)
1. After use, the player will enter an invincible state for 3 seconds. During this period, you can choose a target position for teleportation.
2. After the teleports, it will deal 10 times the character’s damage to enemies within a distance of 25 on a straight path.
3. If the teleportation causes damage, it will immediately recharge.

Gamble Reward (12 charge, 4 quality, shop room)
1. Can only be charged by picking up coins.
2. When used, spawn an item from current room’s pool.

Holy Shield (5s charge, 4 quality, angel room)
1. Used immediately before injury, it can prevent impending damage and generate a wide range of light beams.
2. The light beams cause player’s damage every frame.
3. If prevent injury successfully, it will recharge immediately.
4. The judgment frame number for preventing injury is 8.

Holy characters

This mod will finally provide the holy version for each characters, including tainted ones.
Currently finished characters: Holy Isaac, Holy Magdalene, Holy Azazel, Holy Eden.

Holy Isaac (3 red hearts)
1. Take "Holy D6" as initial pocket item.
2. Take card "The lovers" initially.
3. Birthright: use "Holy D6" will randomly spawn new items with same or higher quality, without the 80% and 20% chance limitation.

Tainted Holy Isaac (3 red hearts)
1. When pick up a new item, there is a 25% chance to spawn another item from current room’s item pool.
2. Take card "The hanged man" initially.
3. Birthright: the chance of spawn new items is increased to 30%.

Holy Magdalene (4 red hearts, 8 broken hearts)
1. Take "Live Heart" as initial pocket item.
2. Take "Goat Head" initially, and the chance to generate angel room is always 0.
3. When take damage, if there is an empty heart container, it will be replaced with a broken heart.
4. When lose heart containers, the spare heart will be filled with broken hearts.
5. Birthright: broken hearts will not be spawned any more.

Tainted Holy Magdalene (3 soul hearts)
1. Soul heart character, which means you cannot pickup red hearts and get heart containers.
2. Take "Goat Head" initially, and the chance to generate angel room is always 100%.
3. All the spawned red hearts will be replaced with soul hearts and black hearts.
4. Birthright: Spawn a soul heart and "A Sacred Offering (ID 585)".

Holy Azazel (3 soul hearts)
1. Shoot holy tears (the same effect as "Holy Death Shot (ID 374)").
2. Take card "The fool" initially.
3. Fly.
4. Damage multiplier 0.5, Shot Speed multiplier 0.6.
5. Birthright: generate the "Holy White Death (ID 160)" effect every 10 shots.

Tainted Holy Azazel (1 red heart, 1 soul heart, 1 black heart)
1. When entering new rooms which is not cleared, change player between Holy Azazel and Azazel.
2. Take "Convert" as initial pocket item.
3. Take card "The fool" initially.
4. Fly.
5. Birthright: get the birthright effect of the corresponding persona.

Holy Eden (random hearts)
1. Get 3 random initial items.
2. Take "Remake" as initial pocket item.
3. Birthright: charge for pocket active item -2.

Tainted Holy Eden (random hearts)
1. Get 3 random initial items.
2. Take "Fix" as initial pocket item.
3. When clear a room, trigger the "D4 (ID 284)" effect.
4. When use "Fix", all the current passive items will not be affected by the "D4" effect.
5. Birthright: Remove all items you hold, and respawn them in order of quality from high to low. The effect of "Fix" will also be cleared.

The Holy Lost (1 soul heart)
1. Always keep 1 soul heart.
2. Take devil deals for free.
3. Can fly, and has spectral tears.
4. When clear a room, get a random persona from red/green/blue personas. The maximum personas you can hold is 3.
5. Each persona can resist damage for once. Red personas can offer damage +1, blue personas can offer move speed +0.15, and green personas can offer luck +1.
6. Birthright: The maximum number of personas you can hold is added to 5.

Tainted Holy Lost (1 soul heart)
1. Always keep 1 soul heart.
2. Take devil deals for free.
3. Can fly, and has spectral tears.
4. Take "Persona" as initial pocket item. You can change between three personas (blue/red/green).
5. Blue persona has no effect. Red persona offers damage x2, but move speed x0.1. Green persona resists all damages, but you cannot shot tears and all enemies is also invincible.
6. Birthright: Intensify your personas. Blue persona gets homing tears. Red personas improves the move speed multiplier from x0.1 to x0.8. Green Persona can freeze contacted enemies for 3 seconds.

Holy Judas (1 red heart, 1 soul heart)
1. When clean one room, the damage will +1.
2. When take damage from enemies or enter a new level, the damage will be reset.
3. Birthright: Taking damage will not reset your damage, instead it will -1.

Tainted Holy Judas (2 soul hearts)
1. Soul heart character, which means you cannot pickup red hearts and get heart containers.
2. Take "Holy Blade" as initial pocket item.
3. Birthright: When use "Holy Blade", the distance for cause damage on teleportation path is expanded to 40.

Holy Cain (2 red hearts)
1. Take "Gamble Reward" as initial pocket item.
2. Take card "Justice" initially.
3. BirthRight: When clean a room, spawn 1 extra coin as reward.

Tainted Holy Cain (2 red hearts)
1. Take "Red Key" as initial pocket item.
2. Take card "The Moon?" initially.
3. Charge for "Red Key" is reduced by 1.
4. Birthright: Charge for "Red Key" is reduced by 2.
