T-65b X-wing Starfighter

Incom T-65b X-wing starfighter – this iconic ship does not really require a long introduction.

Created for REFORGED EDEN only! (S-foils in open position just cannot be replicated without the 3:1 structural ramp blocks specific to the scenario) and in partial collaboration with LyfeForse – one of the undisputed masters of Star Wars builds in Empyrion. She is built as a medium support fighter-bomber with decent anti-shield and anti-hull capabilities thanks to 4 Heavy Laser Cannon installed in the wings and 2 embedded Bomb Launchers, one on each side of the cockpit.

She sports great manoeuvrability for a slim craft of her size and has decent armour and bulkhead layout that will prevent instant cascading within the main body if hit. But the wing drives will blow up spectacularly if looked at the wrong way and she only has a limited shield in stock configuration. She therefore shines with the installation of additional auxiliary cores that will allow either fitting of the additional shield parts or an upgrade to the progenitor shield generator within the back section. To access, remove the three middle half-blocks on the rear wall, or modify in creative mode.

Weapons can additionally be upgraded to your taste: embedded slots are 5 blocks long and will fit Torpedo Launchers; additional 4 fixed weapons can be installed at the base of each wing. For the purposes of accommodating ammunition while maintaining pitch, yaw and roll the section under the cockpit was enlarged a little bit compared to the reference model, but T-65 still has rather limited ammo storage of 4625L. With Torpedo upgrades this translates to 10 torpedoes in store + 2 in the tubes and 100 Type-D Laser Charges (25 clips for 4 guns) – so use torpedoes wisely. Storage capacity can be expanded upon via substituting additional RCS units in the nose or adding extra controller in the rear section.

– Internal compartment with 22 empty block spaces for upgrades and direct access to the shield generator and the jump drive
