St. Louis Car Company Highliner 1
In 1971, the St Louis Car Company delivered 130 Highliner electric multiple units to the Illinois Central Railroad. Getting passed down to the Regional Transit Authority (now Metra) in 1976, they would go on to serve for over 40 years, being repainted and modified several times.
This mod depicts the Highliner in every stage of its career, including two different variations with independent sound sets!
Liveries included are:
Illinois Central Black (1971)
Illinois Central Collision Orange (1972)
Regional Transportation Authority (1976)
Metra Brown & Orange (1985)
Metra Blue & Red (2000)
Also included are two recolor-able liveries, based off of the real liveries! These release in 1972 and 2000.
This mod includes 3 configurations for each livery; a lead unit, which has horn and bell, a reversed unit, and a trailing unit, with no horn and bell. Create all sorts of combinations! Yes, these trains did run in 3 car consists.
