ENG : Army of the Second Polish Republic – Regular armed forces of Poland in the interwar period (1918-1939). The main tool of state defense consisting of the Polish Army and Navy. Professionalization, modernization and expansion of military infrastructure were aimed at maintaining independence in conditions of international tensions. As a result of the aggression of Germany and the Soviet Union in September 1939, the Army of the Second Polish Republic faced defeat, which led to the loss of Poland’s independence.
PL : Wojsko Drugiej Rzeczypospolitej – Regularne siły zbrojne Polski w okresie międzywojennym (1918-1939). Główne narzędzie obrony państwa składające się z Wojska Polskiego oraz Marynarki Wojennej. Profesjonalizacja, modernizacja i rozbudowa infrastruktury wojskowej miały na celu utrzymanie niepodległości w warunkach międzynarodowych napięć. W wyniku agresji Niemiec i Związku Radzieckiego we wrześniu 1939 roku, Wojsko 2. Rzeczypospolitej stanęło w obliczu klęski, co doprowadziło do utraty niepodległości Polski.
