Description:

Central Telecom Building, based on a real life building in Prague, nicknamed "Mordor".

This building works as a TV station and it has a reduced layout compared to the real life building.

The real life building was finished in 1979, the architects were František Cubr, Josef Hrubý, Zdeněk Pokorný, František Štráchal and Vladimír Outlík.
If you are wondering, yes, the building is undergoing a demolition right now to make some space for another ugly real-estate developer flats.

The statue is inspired by the real life statue "Return From the Space", author Rudolf Svoboda. In 1998 it disappeared and was considered to be lost for another 20 years, then it was accidently found on the other end of the country.

The mosaic "Man Conquering the Frontiers of the Space", author Sauro Ballardiniho, was in real life located at the reception, and for more than 20 years it was hidden behind a Drywall.

Yes, this building and its components got quite a "nice" treatment.
