Fire in the hole / Mortar rework
This mod aims to improve mortars in JA3
Features
- Choose how many rounds you want to fire (maximum 3).
- Choose the dispersion of the rounds fired
- More complex breakdown and AP calculation where heavy weapons, explosives, strength, dexterity and wisdom are the main factors. (don’t let Kalyna get near a mortar)
- Slightly changed values of the HE mortar shell. (Lower base damage, larger radius and additional suppression)
- Changed order of animations (each round is fired separately)
Known Issues
- !Important: Do not use the button in the bottom left corner to fire the mortar as this will mess up the rework and a vanilla bug will cause the mortar to ignore the max and min range settings.
- Dialogues are not reliably closed when Escape is pressed (change merc or cancel before firing).
- No night penalty
- For now, the changes only apply to the player.
