Background

In 2023, more than a decade after the events of Operation Arrowhead, the unstable Takistani Government has fallen into anarchy. Rampant corruption within the ranks, coupled with the massive rise in anti-western ideologies, led to a state of chaos and disarray in Takistan. In May of that year, a group of CSAT-backed ultranationalists staged a coup with the goal of aligning Takistan with the recently formed Canton Protocol Strategic Alliance Treaty, which alarmed NATO officials.
The new government launched an ultimatum demanding the remaining few aid workers and western presence to evacuate from the country immediately, or face exile or certain death. NATO immediately stages the second invasion of Takistan.
In early June, NATO strategists come up with a two-pronged assault, again launched from the Chernarussian border, of which American forces would assault key coastal towns and also directly crossing the border and attack from the north. A task force was formed, codenamed "TF Shield" which consists of the USMC 27th Marine Expeditionary Unit and the elite 1st Recon, Multiple US Army infantry and armored divisions, and the USAF. The operation was codenamed "Operation Desert Sword".

Mission Detail

Lead a 1st Recon Marine squad to punch through large amounts of Takistani forces in the town of Mantiq.
Features:
-AH-1Z "Viper" attack helicopters will soften up the LZ for the 2 Seahawks inserting 4 Marine squads, callsign "Reaper"
-Randomized spawn for the 1st objective, objective is shown below
-Randomly spawning enemy garrisons and snipers during each playthrough
-Street and house-to-house fighting.
-Callsign "Sentinel" will oversee Reaper’s advance.
-Ending is shown below.

Spoilers

First Objective: seek and destroy BM-21 GRAD artillery piece, with 5 random locations marked on the map.
Second Objective: Fight through waves of enemies in house-to-house fighting and reach the outskirts of the town to establish a perimeter.
Third Objective: Defend the tower from incoming enemy forces and wait until reinforcements arrive. A couple of Vipers will dispatch the remaining enemies.
