Aerial trams. Experimental!
Custom Road type (invisible)
Custom Bridge type (invisible supports, the cables are actually the railings)
Combined station/depot.
Support towers.
Tutorial:
-Place towers/stations first.
-Use Guides to place towers in line and with acceptable slope.
-Test placing cables (roads) between towers. Make sure to select the aerial cable (invisible) road. If it says "Too much slope" you can press N to get more slope.
-Adjust Slopes. err on the side of downward slope.
-Adjust Radii. Longer cables exert more force and require larger radii.
-Place roads. Make sure to select tram track (catenary is no longer required). It is very difficult to delete misplaced roads, so be sure you are correct, save beforehand.
If you do need to delete a road, upgrade it to bus lanes, which you can then click on.
Known issues:
– Cities will build houses next to tram lines.
– Using the magic wand upgrade option with the tram invisible road seems to crash the game.
