Artifacts for Cathay (Updated for Yuan Bo)
This mod adds artifacts for Zhao Ming, Miao Ying, and Yuan Bo. Meant to make the caravan/item RNG unnecessary as well as give them unique items like other lords.
It makes Slaanesh’s Blade, Sword of Khaine, Chainsword, etc, less desirable (though still massive upgrades and worth obtaining). To better fit the Cathay narrative and ideology.
Currently compatible with New Legendary Lord Artefacts Warhammer 3 (in a loose way. it just adds a second set to choose from).
Thanks to @stompie5 for allowing me to use his mod as a baseline for this one.
I wouldn’t recommend using my mod without this mod also installed as otherwise the Cathay Lords will be a bit much compared to many other Warhammer 3 lords.
Yuan Bo’s weapon/armor are directly edited.
This mod now does a few other things I will eventually move to a second mod.
Slightly buffs dragon form, making it so transforming isn’t nearly a pure detriment. You still don’t want to use it around any missile units, but it serves its purpose as a single entity combatant as opposed to human form being purely superior.
Makes the foot stats of the shugengan match the stats of mounted shugengan with the exception of speed and charge bonus. This is so we can have more badass elemental bending instead of just another flying lancer lord. The trade-off is flight, charge bonus, and speed for being a small unit size and a whole lot of badassery.
