Description:
Argyle

Not long after Ol’ Bill Argyle, the district founder of Tapernoony died in 1849, the townspeople of Tapernoonyville got together to decide what to do to honor Ol’ Bill.

"He was a bigger man than most" said Seth Green (the local grocer) "and I think we should name that mountain out yonder after him."

"Seconded and carried" exclaimed the townspeople and Mt. Argyle was thus registered accordingly.

"Some called him a simpleton" said Bob Smith (the local blacksmith) "but he was much deeper than that and I think we should name that lake out yonder after him too."

"Seconded and carried" exclaimed the townspeople and Lake Argyle was thus registered accordingly.

"He was worth 10 men" said Reg Carpenter (the local librarian) "and I think we should name the city after him, in fact the whole district!"

"Seconded and carried" exclaimed the townspeople and so, Argyle of Argyle (formerly Tapernooyville of Tapernoony), nestled on the north flank of Mt. Argyle upon the shores of Lake Argyle was thus registered accordingly.

"And now to the second order of business." decreed the mayor (who was also the grocer and the only person with carpentry skills), "This town has high unemployment, there is no industry and we have no money. Whatever shall we do?"

"I know" said Reg (the clever one, obviously), "let’s invite some Transport Fever players to create the industry we need in our district and they can make us all rich and famous."

"Seconded and carried" exclaimed the townspeople and so Argyle – the map – was thus registered accordingly on Steam Workshop.

And here you are.

Yes. You guessed it. This is a 2k x 1k pretty map replete with a lake, a mountain and… 7 cities, just dying for some industry so Ol’ Bill’s namesake can grow.

ENJOY.

Recommended mod(s)
– Industry Tycoon or similar. (you could play with just the towns I suppose)
– Extra Vegetation for that more natural look.

As usual, keep in touch if there’s problems.
