New Farmables: Glow Vine for Glow Fibre
I had intended to work on this one literally years ago, but burnout is one hell of a drug.
With this mod, glow vines and glow flowers found in the Bioluminescence mini-biome have a chance (20%) to drop Glow Vine Seeds when smashed, which can then be planted to grow farmable vines as a renewable source of Glow Fibre.
As an added bonus, this mod changes the acquisition of the four Glow Stick – Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange – recipes. Back in beta, the recipe for Green Glow Stick was learned when you picked up Green Glow Fibre, and then the remaining recipes were learned when you crafted a Green Glow Stick. Since the removal of Green Glow Fibre, the only way to learn the glow stick recipes was to find a Green Glow Stick as random loot in Bioluminescence mini-biomes. Now, to give this new source of Glow Fibre a little extra use, all four glow stick recipes are learned immediately when picking up Glow Fibre.
