Rivers are a unique ecosystem that host a variety of different species. They are found on nearly every continent, and are equally important to humans and wildlife alike. The uniqueness of each river will be represented in this series, where we will travel across every continent, discovering the creatures that call them home.

White-faced Whistling Duck (Dendrocygna viduata)

This duck is a world traveller! It regularlly frequents both the Amazon River in South America and the Nile River in Africa, two locations that will be visited in this series. This noisy whistler will make a great addition to any aquarium!
