Demo Mode+
Allows you to use the timed ‘demo mode’ that was used for previews of the Repentance update, with some added functionality and customization.
Using this adds some challenge to the game, as the run will either become more difficult or basically be over when the time runs out, pressing you to rush to achieve as much as you can in that time.
Can be useful if you want to play the game but only want to have a quick run and/or want to challenge yourself, or want to have multiple people taking turns for some reason.
By default when starting a run you have 10 minutes, once those 10 minutes run out your character will become the lost, however by using the Mod Config Menu you can set it to work differently.
Just press F10 and go to the ‘Demo Mode’ menu, demo mode can be enabled and disabled, the time limit can be changed, the effect can be changed and it can also be set to restart once triggered using a different time limit.
Once the initial timer runs out it can be set to trigger any of the following effects:
Become the lost
Kill the player (can just see how far you can get or how many bosses you can kill in the allotted time)
More enemies spawn and they respawn when you leave a room
All enemies become invisible
Movement and fire controls are reversed
All curses for the rest of the run
Items no longer spawn (aside from polaroid/negative/key pieces)
Pickups no longer spawn (cards/pills/hearts/coins/keys/bombs/chests/sacks)
Lose a heart container (or take damage if you have none) every so often
Lose a random item every so often
Spawn a couple bosses every so often
Warp straight to dark room/void
Warp straight to mega satan
You can even set 2 different effects to trigger together.
This is included in POTATO PACK 2.
