Multicat "Otter"
This boat is designed to be used as a multi-purpose work boat for towing, pushing, light salvage and recovery, and whatever else you need to do. Capable of 30 kts in calm conditions, it rocks two single-cylinder 3×3 modular engines, so should have enough "umph" to tow most properly scaled items in the water.
WARNING: Keep in mind that the vessel will not fair well in open water at higher winds (over 60%).Maintain a lower speed until the weather improves.
It has 6 equipment lockers, located on the deck and in the exterior of the bridge. In them you’ll find first aid, flare gun and MOB equipment, remote controller for the crane, cabling, hoses, and finally more rope then you’ll know what to do with.
Crane controls are done via the remote controller and are fairly intuitive (Freq. preset to 0). A/D rotates the crane, W/S raises and lowers the arm, L/R extends the jib, U/D raises and lowers the jib, and 1/2 toggle the winch U/D.
