GLAISDALE DD-02 DESTROYER
The GLAISDALE DD-02 DESTROYER is a 35 Meter long All-purpose vessel with endurance in mind. It has accommodations for a crew of 4 and seating for 14 extra in the seating room.
Specifications:
Range: 400KM at 60KPH
Weapons: 18 VLS missiles, 3 20MM cannons, 1 120MM, 1 40MM, 2 50. cal machine guns.
Countermeasures: 24 CHAFF launched 2 at a time.
Top speed: 145KPH in calm water.
Targeting systems: JTAC targeting pod and FCR2M1 targeting pod.
Detection systems: 20KM range radar and small sonar, collision warning system.
Alarms: Flooding, RWR, Collision.
Engine: Two turbine motors and 2 large generators.
General description:
This vessel is meant to be used as a medium range defense vessel, its armor is enough to tank most shots from battle cannons(NOT USING HE) but missiles will cause bad damage. The bilge pumps are enough to prevent sinking while repairs are made but should not be relied upon.
Effective gun range is 1.5KM and effecting missile range is 800 meters to 15KM. There is some room on the back deck to land helicopters. the rear deck is low to the water to allow smaller boats to dock easily. The boat is equipped with a full lighting system including Spotlights, Searchlights, Deck lights and automatic interior lights that activate if you enter the room.
This vessel has also been optimized quite a bit, i can run a single one at high FQ with 60FPS and 2 at low FQ with 50+ FPS. (Note that this was in a world with containers and animals)
It should be noted that the VLS missiles often get stuck in the tube while moving above 30~ kph but will launch out after a moment so don’t be alarmed if they get stuck for a few seconds after launch.
