Description:

CV Class 24, Tier 4+, Unlock Level 25 – Reforged Eden only

Primary roles: Late game CV, Combat, Shield, Warp, Production, Farming, Hangar, Utility

Update 10/23/2023 – 1. Corrected wording on info LCD for thruster placement. 2. Fixed storage bay 7. It now has 320K storage. 3. Added o2 to Sickbay, Advanced Shield room, and recreation room. 4. Removed force fields in brig and replaced with laser fence LCD’s. Also fixed O2 in the brig area. 5. Fixed missing orange texture and lower texture on each nacelle. 6. Added temp block to fill in hole on each nacelle just behind artillery launchers. The block is labeled on the inside to remove when placing a thruster in the bay. 7. The NCC-11755 USS-Europa is inspired by Star Trek style ships but not a replica. In lore this ship is on an alternative timeline and not the USS-Europa seen in Star Trek Discovery. Originally designed for general exploration, after the first tour it was brought back to space dock to be retro fit with a larger shield and more combat capabilities do to hostile state of galaxy as multiple wars broke out between various factions.

IMPORTANT! – The USS-Europa requires a high amount of CPU before use. Before operation it will need 10 Auxiliary and 10 quantum cores installed (or alternative CPU boosts if using CPU) Beyond the start up CPU, additional CPU can also be used for a number of upgrades including more thrust, weapons, production, solar, and more.

Stock Features

The Europa comes with 6 Advanced constructors, 2 deconstructions, 2x640K storage, 8X320K storage, 4X320K ammo bays, 60 light year warp drive, long range radar, 183K shield, lots of weapons (see offense and defense), 162 grow plots + 72 Pentaxid grow plots locations (Grow plots not included), full med bays, armor lockers and repair, 7 point Wifi, teleporter, crew rooms, secure bridge, main bridge, 1st person bridge, hangar and landing pad + captains yacht hangar and 2 small hangar bays, holodeck, captains and first officer rooms, cafeteria, multiple engineering rooms, fridges and food processors, recreation area, and more.

Upgrade options

You can also add 48 solar panels (24 small, 24 large) in a number of rooms designed to hold them, 8 additional turrets, 234 total grow plots, 2 advanced and 1 small generator, 6 advanced (XL) thrusters, 2 additional constructors, offline protection, and repair bay (2 locations) and repair console. There is a part upgrade info LCD in the ship using the P menu option – Part upgrade info – This LCD can be viewed in the main bridge once activated.

Offense and defense

The hull is built with steel with some xeno backing blocks in select areas, the interior is made of carbon substrate. The Europa has a heavy shield + 8 small, 8 medium, and 6 large shield parts + 2 fusion reactors bringing the total shield strength to 183K. It comes stock with 10 advanced laser cannons, 12 artillery cannons, 16 retractable positron turrets, 12 retractable missile turrets, 7 retractable minigun turrets, and 7 retractable sentry guns. It also has 8 additional retractable turret mount positions. There are P menu options to turret on different weapon types.

Notes: It is highly recommended to not fly the ship or turn on the shield until CPU is balanced. I would also suggest taking in creative mode first if possible to review the ship and info LCD in main bridge before spawning in game. Also please let me know if you find issues in comments. Thanks!

When building the USS-Europa, I wanted to not have the player walk to far to get to key game play areas such as production, farming, utility, and cockpits. You will find most all game function areas on the main saucer deck as well as many ways to get in the ship and take control as quickly as possible. It still is a bit of walk from the main hangar to the main saucer deck.

This ship is not compatible with vanilla for many reasons. However the main reason is it used Reforged Eden only structural frame blocks for many parts of the hull which will be missing if spawned in vanilla.

I also have plans to build some support SV’s in the near future to use the specialized docking bays such as the captains yacht bay and 2 small side bays. The main hangar is using a 13×7 hangar door and should be able to dock anything that can fit thru the opening.

One last thing to note, I am planning on putting a reduced size class version of the ship (cutting some fluff rooms) so it can be used on more servers.
