American Naval Legend

The gull-winged oddball of the US Navy with enough nose and propeller to go around. While always portrayed as the carrier-based fighter flying for the star-spangled banner in every WWII video game, the corsair interestingly enough was preferred NOT to be flown off a carrier. It was riddled with issues from the start, and the F6F Hellcat took its place, although the latter has yet to see a decent cameo in media. With the war over, the corsair was comfortably flying on and off of carriers, accurately portrayed and immortalized in the movie Devotion. It would see frequent service during the Korean War as a fighter-bomber. Has all of the moving parts, EXCEPT for the folding tail gear. That was really hard to figure out and I eventually gave up on it.

Manual:

Starting: (1) Turn on "Master Breaker" (2) Turn on "Engine Master" (3) Hold "Engine" until the engine starts (4) Turn on "Release Wheel Brakes" (5) Press ‘4’ and (6) Set "Roll Trim" to 4 and "Pitch Trip" to -1 (7) Throttle up to .10 and taxi (8) Throttle up to .40 and yaw appropriately to combat acceleration roll (9) Pull back on the yoke if needed (10) Turn on "Retract Landing Gear" (11) Fly Using the Trim: To the right of the cockpit is trim, which is basically bias towards one direction. You’ll probably have to play around a bit with roll, but pitch should be fine unless you go really slow. Taking Care of your Corsair: (1) Treat it well, and it will treat you well (2) Don’t gun the throttle, they call it the "widowmaker" for a reason (3) This IS a fighter, so please kill every paper-built A6M2 you see
