Sayyid Trait Overhaul
Improves the historical accuracy of the Sayyid trait for Islamic rulers.
In reality, the rulers of the Abbasid and Ummayad dynasty were not Sayyids (direct descendants of the Prophet Muhammad), but rather, they were descendants of the Quraysh, the ruling tribe of Mecca of which the Prophet was a member.
New Features:
– Sayyid trait limited to Fatimids of Egypt and Hashimids of the Hejaz
– New trait called "Quraysh" given to Abbassid and Ummayad dynasty members
– New modifiers applied to Sayyid trait
Sayyid Trait:
Same faith opinion = +10
Monthly prestige = + 0.30
Short reign duration multiplier = -0.30
Quraysh Trait:
Same Faith opinion = +5
Monthly prestige =+ 0.25
Short reign duration multiplier = -0.25
Other Planned Features
– Muslim characters in 867 and 1066 start date will be given traits that more accurately reflect their historic personalities instead of the generic or historically inaccurate traits Paradox has given them.
