ALCO HH600/660 Switcher Locomotive
This is the ALCO HH600/660 Switcher Locomotive which was produced between 1931-1940.
This is a pretty barebones model train due to it’s age, but it has a lot of charm! Radio control was added as a modern convenience, though.
OPERATION:
1. Flip main breaker to turn on electricity.
2. Turn ignition to start.
3. Let out brake lever.
4. Increase throttle lever.
5. Have fun!
This model is diesel-electric, so the generator will kick on if the battery falls below 70%, and will continue to charge until the battery is full.
Radio control is default to CH:3, but you can change it in the microcontroller if it interferes with other machines. I also added a "ludicrous speed" button (not realistic at all), but sometimes you just gotta get there!
RC CONTROLS:
W = throttle up
S = brake
1 = reverse switch
2 = shunting mode (super slow)
If you think I should add any features, or maybe a different paint scheme, or if you just like it and want to say so, let me know!
