Introduction
东风7C型柴油机车（DF7C）是中国铁路使用的电力传动柴油机车车型之一。该型机车是由北京二七机车厂于1990年开始研制、1991年研制成功、1992年投入批量生产的调车机车，适用于大型编组站及大型工矿企业的编组及调车作业以及小运转作业。截至2018年底，北京二七机车厂已生产了超过800台各种型号的东风7C型机车，成为东风7系列调车机车产品之中销量最好的车型，其踪影遍布中国各个铁路局，并被许多地方工矿企业所采用。
为尽可能还原作品，作者查阅了有关资料，咨询了技术人员，联系了驾驶东风7C型内燃机车的乘务员，并与铁道粉丝研究讨论。尽管工作量巨大，但收获颇丰。
DF7C (Dongfeng: East Wind) diesel locomotive is one of the diesel-electric locomotives used by China Railway. This type of locomotive is a shunting locomotive launched by Beijing Feb. 7th Locomotive Works (Beijing Erqi) in 1990, developed in 1991, and started mass production in 1992. It is suitable for marshalling and shunting operations in large station, large industrial and mining enterprises, as well as used for maneuvering over short distances. As of the end of 2018, Beijing Erqi had produced more than 800 DF7C locomotives of various models, becoming the best-selling model among this series. Those DF7C are used by national railway groups all over China, also adopted by numbers of industrial and mining enterprises.
In order to make this work as close to reality as possible, I have consulted relevant materials, consulted technical personnel, contacted DF7C’s drivers and engineers, also conducted research and discussions with railway fans. The workload was heavy, but the reward abundant.
启动机车
Engine Start
依次打开燃油泵、冷却泵和冷却风扇，待下方指示灯亮起，旋转主断路器钥匙至打开，按住发动机启动按钮3秒以上。
Turn on the "Fuel Pumps", "Coolant Pumps" and "Coolant Fans" in sequence, wait for the lower indicators to light up, turn the key of the "Main Breakers" to "On", press and hold the "Engine Start" button for more than 3 seconds.

Operation
选择一个乘务员驾驶席坐下，打开灯光开关至自动，车辆照明将根据牵引方向自动开启或关闭。也可手动开启各照明灯。旋转主控钥匙至“开”。使用W/S键换向，观察窗右侧的显示屏确定牵引方向。使用A/D键增大/减小功率手柄档位。使用↑/↓键增加/减小列车制动。
Choose and sit in an engineer seat, turn on the light switch "Auto", the locomotive lighting will be automatically turned on or off according to the traction direction. The lights can also be turned on manually. Turn the "Master Key" to "On". Use W/S to change direction as a reverser, the display on the right side of the observation window determines the traction direction. Use A/D to increase/decrease the throttle. Use ↑/↓ to increase/decrease train brakes.
右侧的显示屏显示当前速度、发动机转速、牵引方向、制动手柄位置和功率手柄位置。这些数据对于行车非常关键，乘务员应时刻注意当前速度！
The display on the right shows current speed, engine RPM, direction, brake lever position and throttle lever position. These data are very critical for driving, engineer should always pay attention to the current speed!
遥控控制机车运行
RC Mode
在驾驶室找到遥控模式开关，打开开关并选定遥控器无线电频率。使用遥控器的A/D键控制机车前进/后退。遥控器的热键[1]是列车恒定50%制动。请注意！当不使用遥控器时，机车或列车可能会不受控制的滑行。
Find the RC mode switch in the cab, turn on the switch and select the radio frequency of the remote control unit. Use A/D to control the locomotive to move forward/backward. The hotkey [1] of the RC unit is toggle on/off 50% braking of the train. Please note! When the RC unit is not used (no toggle control), the locomotive or train may slide uncontrollably.
