Description:
The Fingo Coach X3-45 Entertainer.

The largest, most expensive, and most prestigious road-going vehicle produced by Fingo Motor Co.

About The X3 Coach

The X3 is a full sized 45 Foot coach bus inspired by the Prevost X3-45. It’s powered by the trusted V Force 10 Pro making 525 HP and 1,700 LB-FT of torque, which is then mated to the brand new Fingo DynaTronic HDX6, which is a heavy-duty large truck transmission intended for large, High-GVWR vehicles.

Chassis

The X3 sits on a stainless steel chassis with aluminum body paneling ensuring that it will stand the test of time as it travels the roads of stormworks. For the maximum ride quality, the X3 rides on triple CloudRide Air axles, being a front steer, middle drive, and a rear tag axle.

Interior

The interior conversion on this first entertainer example of the coach is tailored for maximum traveling comfort. The interior features textured wood cabinetry and finishes, configurable lighting system with modes for whatever mood you’re in, and bunks to sleep up to 8 crew members.

Features

Beyond the looks, the bus features many convenience features to make life on the road easier, such as running water with a smart pump that will actuate only when pressure in the water system demands it to, automatic heating that will actuate at a pre-determined threshold to ensure the occupants stay toasty in colder climates, a generator that will only kick on when the system is demanding a substantial amount of energy, and a rear engine bay hatch featuring a multiple point hinging system to ensure that anyone servicing the bus has adequate space to do their job properly. We respect mechanics.

Towing

For those who need to carry cars, equipment, or whatever it may be in a pull behind trailer, you’re in luck. Thanks to the powerful V Force Turbo Diesel engine and Fingo’s new DynaTronic transmission, you’re able to comfortably tow up to 20,000 LBS with the new X3 coach.

A Rundown Of Entertainer Coaches

An entertainer coach is the purest example of what a ‘tour bus’ is. An entertainer is a utilitarian bus that’s soul purpose is to comfortably transport a crew of people on long tours. The aforementioned Prevost X3 VIP entertainer is extremely prevalent in the music industry and some busses can bear up to 12 crew sleeping bunks. Entertainers range from basic utilitarian buses, to tricked out prestigious coaches, while still bearing the same utilitarian function.

X3 And H3 Coaches – The differences

In the Prevost lineup (the actual bus manufacture) there are two basic models of bus platform. The X3-45, and the H3-45. Specified by the ‘45’ designation, both of these models are are 45 feet in length. Those of you who are knowledgeable will know that Prevost previously made a 40” XL bus in the 90s and very early 2000s. Onto the differences of specifications. For starts, the X3 is a bus built on a steel chassis with all aluminum body paneling. The X3’s floor height is mostly if not completely level across the deck of the bus. It has a longer wheelbase (not to be confused with length) that ultimately provides a nicer ride. The chassis on the X3 also provides better headroom accommodations. The X3 is what is typically used as an entertainer/tour coach. Both coaches are powered by the same drivetrain. On my bus, the VForce 10 525 HP .. on the real-life Prevost, a Volvo D13 500 HP.

An H3 coach is a bus that’s once again built on a steel frame, but this time, the exterior is constructed of top grade fiberglass which makes the bus lighter. It’s essentially a more economical coach. The H3 has a shorter wheelbase and there for a longer rear end/overhang, and also has less interior headroom, but offers much more basement storage under the bus. As well, the H3 has a floor transition that situates the captains position lower to the ground. I’ve personally seen an H3 featherlight coach that has a floor passthrough to a bedroom that’s situated under the bus. Lots of under-floor space.

There’s ultimately no ‘superior’ coach. Which coach is used is what that client prefers, of the application demands.

I’m personally one more for the X3 line because I like the more old-school robust build and long wheelbase. But it’s completely subjective.

Disclaimers & Warnings

DO NOT RUN THIS BUS WITH DAMAGE ON DO NOT RUN THIS BUS WITH DAMAGE ON DO NOT RUN THIS BUS WITH DAMAGE ON DO NOT RUN THIS BUS WITH DAMAGE ON

THE SUSPENSION ON THIS BUS WILL NOT FUNCION PROPERLY UNLESS YOU GO INTO SETTINGS AND TURN PHYSICS REALIM TO THE ‘HIGH’ SETTING

The suspension that I’ve developed and equipped this bus with is a new technology at best. It has flaws and progressing variations will eliminate some of the drawbacks. The suspension will sometimes collapse (non-catastrophically) and will almost always recover. It’s annoying, but it will be sorted out as time passes.

This is a very large vehicle and you CANNOT drive it like a dork. If you hop in and just attempt to floor it and speed everywhere you will not accomplish anything. Learn to drive a bus if you haven’t already.

DO NOT run it with damage on. The bus sits too low for that, plus damage is a useless nuisance feature.

Under no circumstances is this vehicle (content) to be reproduced/re-uploaded to the steam workshop or any other hosting service. With that said, any competent stormworkers who would like to make conversions of this bus can feel free to contact me in the comments as this bus will have a more open-platform post for converters.
