Formation Attack for Appropriate Units
This is a variation of my "Formation Attack for All Units Mod" ( http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=648404758 ), which adds Formation Attack to all units. This mod does the same, except rather then giving Formation Attack to everyone, it attempts to give Formation Attack only to those who likely would stay in formation historically (Note: I am not a historian, so it’s just my best guess.).
Units with Formation Attack:
-Armoured/Disciplined Melee Infantry (ie Most Medium and Heavy Melee Infantry)
-Spear Infantry
-Elite Units (Most General Units, Top Tier Units)
Units without Formation Attack:
-Light/Cheap/Undisciplined Infantry
-Berserker type Infantry or Two Handed Axemen
-Missle Infantry
-Most Cavalry
Does not effect the outcome of battle much, as far as I am aware, however, unlike Formation Attack for all units, it might give certain units a disadvantage/advantage if Formation Attack hurts/helps in combat in certain circumstances.
Works well in conjunction with mods that space out units more, such as this one: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=648542779 . (Video/Pictures are taken using this mod as well, among others).
It’s compatible with any mod that doesn’t edit Unit Group Attributes, so most mods. It’s compatible with Radious.
