Description:

This mod lets you add overlay cosmetics to customize your character. It currently contains sprites from vanilla ragdolls, spell icons, projectiles, and particle effects. This mod was originally created as part of the Noita Halloween Mod Jam. This is probably not compatible with other player character mods.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This mod requires the noita beta branch.

You can switch to the noita beta branch by right-clicking noita in your Steam library -> Properties->Betas, then selecting "noitabeta – Beta branch" from the drop down list.

Usage:
  • Click the "dress up" button in the top left corner to open the outfit editing menu. Click it again to close it.
  • Drag sprites from the left-side tray to add them onto your character. You can filter the sprites that show up in the tray using the search box.
  • There are 4 layers you can add sprites to: head, upper body, lower body, and arm, which are attached to different points of the character.
  • Sprites can be dragged around, resized, and rotated. Note that many of the sprites extend beyond the visible portion, since they are taken from the vanilla ragdoll sprites which are always the size of the full creature.
  • Sprites can be deleted by dragging them back into the sprite tray, clicking the delete sprite button, or pressing delete/backspace
  • The z-index slider allows you to change the z-index of the selected sprite, which determines which sprites draw on top. Sprites in the purple region of the slider will be displayed behind the default character. Higher positions (but lower values) are displayed on top.
  • The bottom right corner has controls for managing your saved outfits, or creating new ones. Note that the "create new outfit" button will create a copy of your current outfit; you can clear it by pressing the "clear all layers" button.
  • You can set the name of the current outfit using the Name text box in the top middle of the screen.
