DR Class V200 / 120
The V 200 series of the German Reichsbahn was a series of these electric locomotives. It is a variant of the Soviet design M62 built for the GDR. Since locomotives could no longer be built in the GDR due to the specialization agreements, the order to buy locomotives was awarded to the Soviet Union.
The first of these imported series was the V 200, later BR 120 with 1,470 kW (2,000 hp) for freight train service. This was the tried and tested design type M 62, which had been supplied to Soviet and foreign railways for years. From 1966 to 1975, the Deutsche Reichsbahn purchase a total of 378 locomotives of this series.
The vehicle was completely redesigned for transport fever. Currently, it is in an early beta version
