Operation Black Serpent
After a failed terrorist attack in Liverpool, MI6 launched a search operation for those suspected of being involved in its organization. Quickly, the evidence pointed to the origin of the organization on the Mediterranean island of Altis, a refuge for extremist nationalist groups from Eastern Europe due to the almost non-existent authority of the small Mediterranean state.
Among the many armed groups on the island is the National Front for Panhellenic Liberation (NFPL), considered a terrorist organization by most NATO and European Union countries. Originating in opposition to the British colonial mandate in the 1970s, once Altis achieved independence, it continued with terrorist activity against the United Kingdom.
As such, Special Boat Service’s M Squadron has been deployed to Altis to hunt down the NFPL’s chain of command and try to drain their supply chains.
Three SBS teams, with the call sign Sword, have been deployed on the island to assault the old hotel complex in Pefkas Bay from the sea. It is known that there is an important local NFPL lieutenant there. Embarked on RHIBs, the 15 men will disembark at the first light of dawn, taking advantage of the thick fog and forecast bad weather as a factor of surprise. Once the exterior facilities are cleared, they will enter the building and try to retrieve as much information as possible from any document or electronic device found in the hotel.
It is not a requirement for the mission, but it is strongly recommended to play with the splendid Real Lighting and Weather mod for a more cinematic aesthetic, like in the pictures of the article.
