Description:

1×2 Configurable Engine Monitor

Thank you all for weekly top 1!

(for a bit xD)

FEATURES
  • For use with 1×2 monitors
  • Configurable engine revolution units (RPS/RPM)
  • Configurable engine temperature units (˚C/˚F)
  • Configurable maximum fuel capacity
  • Configurable fuel consumption units (L/s, L/m, G/s, and G/m)
  • Configurable fuel consumption calculation period
  • Configurable low fuel and engine overheat warning thresholds
  • Displays whether the engine is off, starting, or running

HOW TO USE
  • Connect all logic nodes
  • If using an ECU, the starter and throttle nodes should be connected to the ECU’s output, and ideally to the air manifold if using modular engines
  • Configure using the microcontroller properties
  • Maximum fuel must be input in properties in liters, regardless of the selected fuel consumption unit
  • If using infinite fuel, enable the option in properties to allow the engine run indicator to function properly (if not using infinite fuel disable this for a more accurate readout based on fuel consumption)

MORE INFO
  • Fuel consumption calculation period controls how frequently fuel consumption is calculated and updated on the monitor, so if you don’t know what to set it to 5 seconds is a good starting point
  • Feel free to use this in your creations, but please link back to this page if you upload them, and avoid editing the Lua
