The Peregrine
A top of the range assault corvette, the A-12 Peregrine is the newest competitor to the market of Coalition strategic defense contracts. Equipped with both heavy firepower and manoeuvrability, the Peregrine is suited for heavy duty reconnaissance, fast assault, as well as missions of a more clandestine nature. As a result, its crew is also expected to hold their own against any threat during both rapid deployment and extended operations in hostile waters.
Notice: The sub can’t be used for PVP because the game doesn’t take into account sprite scaling when mirroring the sub. I don’t think the core functionalities are affected but it results in a visual fiasco.

The Peregrine-C model is included in this custom submarine package. It has a fixed turret hardpoint in place of the sliding turret and is more bot friendly. Please redownload the mod to ensure you have received it.
A double barrel rapid-fire coil-gun turret can be deployed to quickly neutralise swarms.
However, the gun is only rechargeable and reloadable in its retracted position. The loader is situated in the reactor room, directly beneath the gun.
The ship is outfitted with a much thinner and lighter hull to compensate for its heavy-weight engines and weaponry. As a result, direct engagement with dangerous threats is not advised.
The engines can be overcharged using power from super-capacitors to provide a short burst of rapid acceleration to provide opportunity for strategic relocation. However, this will leave the weapons drained of power.
Sensor array detect nearby obstacles and automatically reduce throttle to reach a safer speed to avoid catastrophic collision. This can be turned off using either commands in the system terminal or the rightmost switch beneath the display panel , which may be necessary when navigating tight passageways. (note: this system is very much WIP, so don’t rely on it too much. ABS is deactivated in overdrive)
The Blobfish shuttle attached to the rear is equipped with dual depth charge launchers, providing additional firepower for use in specific circumstances. At the same time, the shuttle is capable of carrying out dive support, with a durable battery and a crate shelf mounted to the entrance.
Note: the crate capacity displayed is not accurate. Actual capacity is 8 crates.
Max speed (without overdrive): 27 km/h
Max descent (without auxiliary ballast): 12 km/h
Max descent (with auxiliary ballast): 16 km/h
Reactor Control Modes
These modes can be cycled and used depending on the experience with power management you would prefer:
- Manual – the standard reactor operation, no external control circuit.
- Comp-partial – external circuit manages turbine output, this provides smoother power regulation and prevents overvolting.
- Comp-auto – reactor fully automated by external circuit, capable of running 4 fuel rods at once.
Cycle using the button near the reactor, or using commands in the system terminal (reactorcontrolmode manual/partial/auto)
Airlock
The airlock can be used as an auxiliary ballast. This can be turned on by the button in the navigation console.
Use the lever to cycle the airlock. Use the left most button to immediately open the hatch and bypass the cycling. Do not use both the lever and the button in succession.
Sometimes, the airlock may become stuck in cycling mode. If so, press the button beneath the cycling lever in the airlock to reset it.
Engines
There are two engines. If either fails to receive power, try: 1. repairing the battery attached to it. 2. manually adjusting the charge rate in the attached batteries.
Bots
Although waypoints have been carefully plotted, the confined and awkward spaces of the shuttle and gunpods can be troublesome for bots. If they are stuck, instruct them to follow you and dislodge them from the location before trying another order.
The ship is designed with roleplaying in mind. These include:
- Clocks and mission day tracker
- Ship-wide announcement board for keeping the crew informed on orders (Use ‘announcement {text}’; enter blank space, ‘announcement ‘, to clear text.)
- Setting custom text as the tail identification
Access features in the system terminal. Type "cmd" for a list of commands.
