DR Class V100
The locomotive from the east – suitable for light to medium passenger and freight transport. Developed by Karl Marx Babelsberg from 1966, produced until 1985 in Hennigsdorf. It runs on two two-axle bogies and can travel up to 100km / h, depending on the engine. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, many locomotives of this type were sold to private companies, as Deutsche Bahn reduced its top speed to 80km / h and was therefore no longer competitive with West V100
The vehicle was completely redesigned for transport fever. Currently, it is in an early beta version and only with the version DR BR 112 (883 kW / 200kN) and DR BR 108.
