Description:

Built on November 1949, 1309 was ordered by the C&O for pulling heavy coal trains through the mountainous terrain of West Virginia and Kentucky, It would continue its service until 1956, and it was preserved back in 1972. after being restored into operation service on December 31, 2020, where it would be running the lines in a passenger excursion for the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad.
