GWR 14XX/48XX Class
Built by the same person who made the Pannier tank engines, this may be a 4800 Class locomotive, but it’s actually a 1400, the class are the same, but the 48XX Class was renumbered in 1946 to 14XX. These locomotives were built between 1932-1936, these locomotives never had gotten into an accident or incident during their history.
Only 4 were preserved.
In Fiction-
In 1952, 2 14XX locomotives, 1401 and its double 1456 were used for the movie The Titfield Thunderbolt.
Oliver would use the 14XX basis, he carries a toad brakevan with the same name as the class.
