Sensible Restricted Tenets
Ever got annoyed that you couldn’t reform Coptic Christianity with that sweet sweet +20% lifestyle bonus? Frustrated at the fact that, despite having a coded discount for certain religion types, implying anyone can select it, Communal Possessions cannot be reformed on ANY faith other than the specific Zoroastrian one? Well so was I so I made this mod. Turns out Paradox coded Alexandrian Catechism improperly and it was checking to make sure you are BOTH an islamic and christian faith as opposed to EITHER. And idk what the deal with Communal Possessions is but I fixed that too. Currently that’s all this mod does but if anyone has any more gripes with weird tenet restrictions, drop me a line and I’ll add fixes for those too.
Want a comprehensive list of everything this mod does? Go to steamapps/workshop/content/1158310/3095335375 and navigate through the folders until you get to 00_core_tenets.txt. Then control+F for "SRT Patch Notes", which I’ve left over every changed tenet.
Paradox seems to have fixed communal possessions and is aware of the alexandrian catechism bug so this mod may be unneeded soon.
Incompatible with anything that touches 00_core_tenets.txt which is probably a lot of religion-based mods. My modding knowledge is minimal so idk how to work around that other than dedicated patches.
