Mod Description

Made to be a flying F.O.B. A place were space marine companies can prepare & deploy on ops, and a relatively safe place for their logistics to support them form. Though capable, it really wasn’t designed for interior combat. the interior was designed to be able to quickly prep and deploy its full compliment of astartes and there vehicles from the ship by any of its many means in under 20 minutes. Also the collisionless black walls that can be found threw out the interior of the ship that is apart of the asset used for the exterior ship doesn’t really interfere with deployment or logistics, but greatly interfere with interior combat. Though if desired, this can be "fixed" by having zues hide/ show the assets used for the exterior ship whenever players are coming and going, or players can do it manually themselves from inside the ship by toggling the switch located in back of the op room . The ship is not to scale, its scaled around the small hangers so they matched with the exterior ship, that said its about the same size that the imperial Oberon class battleship form the there is only war mod is scaled down too, so it has lots of internal space. As I expect most units/ chapters will want to customize the ship to better represent them, the part & script count was kept minimal, there is lots of free space, and lots of locations to easily add rooms or passage ways for those looking to expand.

Interior Sections: – 1x large hanger (for deploying thunderhawks/ vehicle transports) – 4x small hangers (for deploying boarding craft/ interceptors/ small transports) – Op Room – drop pod bay – great hall – cathedral – barracks – Teleportarium – Storage Bay – Maintenance Bay – Training Arena

Questions & Answers

Q: Why isn’t this "mod" showing in the launcher/ how to spawn it?
A: This isn’t a "mod", its just a composition, and wont show in your launcher. You’ll find this composition in the editor, once there you need to press the groups key or F2 then click on the composition icon. last pic in the slideshow above will show were that is.

Q: Why is it spawning all broken up?
A: You need to click off Vertical Mode & Surface Snapping before spawning any comp, last pic above shows were to find it. Also rotating it in the editor can cause it to come apart.

Q: What maps were used for the pics?
A: Stratis

Q: Are you planning on making a battle barge?
A: No, as arma 3 has issues with super large objects phasing in out of existence, and the max view range is only 12 km, it couldn’t be much bigger while still remaining practical and would fill the same function with very little change. That said as its already scaled down and you mostly see it from afar anyways, so theres no reason not to just say its a battle barge if you want it to be one.

Q: Why is the training arena just a concrete version of the star wars clone training arena
A: Mostly out of laziness to redesign somthing that will likely largely go unused & deleted for more vehicle storage space, however star wars & 40k have some of the biggest units in the arma community so it should help cross train new players that may be unfamiliar with either setting.
