Race Mode (gmRace) – Scrolling Stages!
Adds ‘race mode’ to YH; the map auto-scrolls to the right
The setting is found towards the bottom of match settings
hitting the left wall deals damage but puts you in instant-cancel / roll
moving to the right quarter speeds up the map and resets your instant-cancel
options for DOT zones and scroll speed
best on stages of 200-400 width
KNOWN ISSUES
– "Can’t challenge, you don’t share these sever-side mods: gmRace" error shows if the opponent does not have the mod installed (i.e. it is a generic message)
– Steam apparently has issues updating the mod; if you know both players do ave the mod installed then try un and re-subbing
hopefully more ‘race finish’ animations will be added when I get them to work correctly
stage drawing will be matched to background loader whenever people start making backgrounds for this
