Mining Drills Improved – Erne’s Edition
My take on the current state of the mining industry of Kenshi. I am aware there are other mods like this in the game, but I just worked on this for my own game, and felt like sharing.
– Adds three new levels of copper drills and three ‘hybrid’ mines for producing Iron Plate, Steel Bars and Copper Alloy Plates with the appropriate tech requirement. It also expands storage of output from drills to 100, so your machine can keep producing for when you need the material.
– Ore Drills are now named Iron Ore Drills I-III.
– Added buildings:
Copper Ore Drills I-III, with similar requirements to Iron Ore Drills.
Hybrid Ore Drill (Iron Plates)
Function: Mines Iron and outputs Iron Plates
Construction Materials: 20 Building Material, 15 Electrical Components, 60 Iron Plates
Power: 50 Units
Hybrid Ore Drill (Steel Bars)
Function: Mines Iron and outputs Steel Bars
Construction Materials: 25 Building Material, 20 Electrical Components, 65 Iron Plates
Power: 60 Units
Hybrid Ore Drill (Copper Alloy Plates)
Function: Mines Copper while consuming Iron Plates and outputs Copper Alloy Plates
Construction Materials: 25 Building Material, 20 Electrical Components, 65 Iron Plates
