Build working screens in Scrap Mechanic or make stunning screenshots inside Scrap Mechanic! [Creative]
How to use
- If you aren’t the host ignore this. Join your friend and have fun
- Go into your steam library and right-click on Scrap Mechanic. Then select ‘Manage –> Browse local files’
- From here, move 2 folders upwards to the ‘steamapps’ folder
- Then navigate to ‘workshop –> content –> 387990 –> 2507968219’
- Open ‘dataPath.txt – Shortcut’ and make sure the path is correct
- Step 2 leads you to the folder which contains the Data folder
- Next run ‘SM Screen Mod Decoder.exe – Shortcut’. If you are concerned about security, you can view my code here[github.com]
- A console window should open. If it doesn’t, please report the bug to me. Keep the console running in the background.
- You’re done! Get one of my screens and stick the modded piece of poop to it. Use ‘use’ to stream your display or ‘upgrade’ to take a screenshot. NOTE: only the host can use the tool & make sure you have only 1 poop at a time
